I can't imagine growing as rapidly as we have without Utility®. We've realized new technological and strategic advantages over the competition, and I ever worry about security, backups, or maintaining my system anymore.

What kind of internet connection do I need for the IsUtility® system?
A simple DSL or cable connection would be more than adequate for a small or midsized company. There is no need for an expensive dedicated T1 connection unless your office your office size demands it.

How does IsUtility® differ from a VPN?
VPNs are software solutions that enable you to create networks between computers using the Internet as the medium for transporting data. While VPNs use encryption and other security mechanisms, actual data is being transferred, making it an attractive target for hackers. VPNs also require experienced security experts to monitor and maintain all aspects of the corporate network as it is not enough to setup a firewall and forget about it.

IsUtility® is inherently mobile. There is no need to set up additional solutions or security measures since all data and applications run remotely from our tier-1 datacenter. Users simply log into their personal desktop and work from anywhere in the world.

IsUtility® is also inherently secure. No "live" data is sent over the Internet. Instead, IsUtility® delivers a (128-bit encrypted) snapshot of the screen to the Internet-connected computer you‘re working on and transmits your keystrokes and mouse movements back to it – making it an unworthy target for hackers.
